***Fully Remote*** In-house Corporate Tax Specialist

This is a fully remote role that can consider candidates working anywhere in the UK.

This large and complex global organisation is recruiting for a Corporate Tax Specialist to join their UK Tax team. You will report directly to the Head of UK Corporation Tax as part of a team of individuals looking after the UK corporate tax compliance and local file transfer pricing documentation requirements for the UK portfolio of companies. You will be part of a wider UK tax team of 15 people.

The key responsibilities will be as follows:

• Provision of corporate tax support to a portfolio of group companies: preparing UK corporate tax computations and filing returns. In addition, producing tax disclosures for inclusion in their statutory accounts and dealing with tax technical issues as they arise. Dealing with tax audit queries from Big 4 advisors.
• Preparing local file transfer pricing documentation using the Group's Transfer Pricing Manager software, taking into account the Group's transfer pricing policy and other transfer pricing aspects.
• Assisting with the Group's year-end and quarterly reporting under IFRS and Prior Year Adjustment calculations using ONESOURCE Tax Provision tool.
• Assisting with reviewing the UK Group's CFC position, process improvements and making appropriate claims and elections.
• Liaising with HMRC on issues as they arise and timely response to queries.
• Liaising with other tax colleagues in the worldwide group to deal with withholding tax issues, residency certificates, US tax forms and other overseas issues.

You will need to be ACA/ACCA/ICAS and/or CTA qualified. You will need to be enthusiastic about developing your tax career in a large and complex commercial organisation, and demonstrate good tax technical skills in UK corporate tax as well as an understanding transfer pricing documentation requirements. Prior experience working with OneSource products (Corporate Tax, Tax Provision, General Ledger Manager) in conjunction with strong MS Excel skills would be advantageous.
