Job Title: HR Advisor
Location: London
Role Overview:
The People Advisor will be a key member of the People team, delivering commercial people services across the UK. The role involves managing employee experience throughout their lifecycle; from joining to leaving, and everything in between. You will collaborate with senior colleagues to support business areas on engagement, wellbeing, diversity, and inclusion initiatives. You will also contribute to national People Team development and work with other People Advisors, Assistants, and specialists (e.g., reward, D&I, wellbeing).
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on the application of policies and procedures and support their update.
- Assist department heads and line managers with managing responsibilities and development.
- Support compensation and benefits processes, including salary and bonus reviews.
- Provide expert advice on employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievances, and capability matters.
- Offer wellbeing and absence support, including mental health and occupational health cases.
- Manage performance and development processes, including appraisals and feedback.
- Conduct exit interviews and provide guidance on parental leave options.
- Analyse and report on people data to improve business practices.
- Lead or participate in national and local HR projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of generalist HR Advisor experience.
- Strong experience in performance management, disciplinary/grievance investigations, and consultations.
- Independent working capability and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferably experienced in salary review processes and financial services.
- Data analysis and reporting proficiency.
- CIPD qualification (preferred).
- Strong communication, organisational, and client service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
