Job Title: Financial Accountant
Location: Northampton (hybrid)
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000pa

Overview

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our exciting, fast growing client based in Northmapton to manage various accounting processes including acquisition accounting, statutory accounts preparation, service contract management, and month-end tasks. This role will report directly to the Financial Controller and is ideal for someone with excellent attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for high-quality financial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidation entries and statutory accounts
• Review balance sheets and manage regulatory returns, including VAT
• Support tax compliance and collaborate on financial reporting
• Provide financial analysis and compile practice reports
• Oversee service contract finance management and reconciliation
• Support the financial control team as needed
  
  

Ideal Candidate

• Qualified accountant
• Experience in practice or industry
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure
• Strong communicator with advanced Excel skills
• Leadership skills and ability to provide clear financial insights
