Morgan McKinley is looking for an Assistant Accountant - Finance Assistant to work for a company based in Guildford, Surrey. The Assistant Accountant will work closely with the Accountant, supporting month end, everyday transactional finance and reporting.
Salary: up to £32,500 per annum
Location: Hybrid 2-3 days office based, Guildford - Surrey
** Due to location, own transport required. Parking onsite
Hours: 8am-5.30pm Mon - Fri (flexible)
Assistant Accountant duties:
- Assist in the preparation of financial analysis, statements and reports
- Support with month end
- Preparing journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage the invoicing and payment processing
- Assist with the budget and forecast process
- Maintain the accounts, monitor transactions and update financial systems
Skills and experience:
- Experience of working in a similar accounting - finance assistant / accounts assistant / assistant accountant type role
- Good IT skills and experience of using Sage
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
