About the Role
We are partnered with a NSW Government Agency to recruit a Senior Communicaitons and Stakeholder Engagement Officer to develop and implement effective communication and engagement strategies for a high-profile project. You will play a key role in managing relationships, providing strategic advice, and ensuring stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute corporate communication and stakeholder engagement strategies tailored to project needs.
- Establish systems, tools, and protocols to track and report on stakeholder engagement activities across major programs.
- Provide regular reports and insights on key stakeholder relationships, concerns, and emerging issues.
- Offer strategic advice on managing stakeholder issues, working proactively to resolve concerns.
- Coordinate media activities, government interactions, and ministerial communications in collaboration with the central media team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support best-practice engagement.
About You
You have experience in stakeholder engagement, communications, or public affairs, with the ability to develop strategic plans and navigate complex stakeholder environments. You are proactive, a strong communicator, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
