About the Role:

This is an ideal opportunity for professionals with a background in Big 4 or similar advisory environments. Whether you're a first mover or have already spent time in industry, this role offers a unique platform to continue applying your advisory skills to high-impact, transaction-driven work. There's also clear potential to move into other areas of finance such as FP&A, commercial finance, or broader financial reporting.

You will collaborate closely with both the Consolidation and External Reporting teams, providing broad exposure to the full financial reporting process.

• Address complex revenue recognition matters and provide technical accounting advisory on a range of transactions, including business combinations and lease arrangements.
• Be a key go-to person for reviewing contracts - spotting accounting risks early and giving the green light from a finance point of view.
• Write clear and thoughtful accounting position papers to support decisions and provide guidance to the wider business.
• Work closely with different finance teams across the business - great exposure and the chance to build strong internal relationships.
• Support the external reporting team at half-year and year-end - especially on more technical parts of the financial statements.
• Help manage the relationship with external auditors, including preparing notes and reviewing subsidiary accounts.

About You:

• Big 4 background, ideally from CFO Advisory / Accounting Technical Advisory teams.
• CA/CPA qualified (ACCA welcome!)
• Experience in applying IFRS to complex accounting scenarios - revenue recognition, business combinations, leases, etc.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills, adept at presenting accounting positions
