This Senior Software Engineer role would be working on a variety of tasks including a large project which will be one of the main responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing automated solutions to scale and self-heal, speeding innovation, reducing development time and supporting costs and effort utilizing Continuous Integration & Delivery Pipelines.Developing new scalable and reliable services and improve existing services when the opportunity is visible to help internal clients with the intent to have minimize maintenance and support.
- Undertake cloud environment support on a day to day basis. Perform operational management of the applications/platforms and ensure change management, compliance, auditing controls are in place for cloud environments
- Conduct verification, debugging and testing in a local environment to deliver stable and functional software that performs to documented requirements
- Undertake appropriate testing, using suitable tools for diagnosing and rectifying issues, and support application software releases and development updates to guarantee performance, functionality and reliability objectives are met.
Requirements:
- Over 5 years of experience in platform software development and release management
- Experience implementing solutions on major Cloud Service Providers including AWS, or Azure and a very good awareness of platform security concerns. Relevant certifications preferred
- Experience with design and build of Tibco and AWS or Azure Integration services (like Azure API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus or AWS API Gateway, AWS SNS / SQS services) and deep understanding of integration patterns such as RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, microservices, messaging, and event-driven architectures
- Experience with tools usage of CI/CD tooling such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Ansible
- Experience of using supporting tools related to logging, monitoring, alerting, and testing.
- Proven experience working with C# in a professional setting with familiarity of using development tools and IDEs (Visual Studio, VS Code, etc.)
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns.
