My Advice

Fail to prepare, prepare to fail. Preparation and persistence really is key in searching for your dream job. Researching the company, understanding what the company is looking for, and aligning your experience with the job responsibilities is essential. Tailor your CV to make it more relevant to the role but always be honest in what you include. Working closely with Hiring Managers allows us to give you them added tips and advice which can often be the deciding factor.

My Background

I started my Recruitment Journey in 2019 were in the same year, I graduated from Technology University Dublin with a BSc in Event Management. As part of my course I completed an internship within the Guinness Storehouse. As Ireland's busiest tourist attraction, it helped me gain valuable experience and skills of which I am now using within my role at Morgan McKinley. Since then I have had three promotions within my tenure at MMK from Consultant, Senior Consultant Team lead and now Manager which really shows the career growth opportunities within the orgainisation  Building relationships and managing expectations is a massive part of this role, which I thoroughly enjoy and needless to say no day is ever the same. I always say Recruitment is doing a lot of small things right and being resilient.
