My Advice

My Advice would be to take the time to focus on finding your next career path. Understand your career goals and objectives and don't settle for less than what you want from a future employer. Never turn down the chance to have a conversation, whether it be with a recruiter, hiring manager, employer or employee, they can provide a unique insight into roles and career paths that you would have never previously considered, and possibly lay the foundation for you to build a dream career.

My Background

A little bit of context on me as your potential Recruiter, I graduated from Mary Immaculate College,Limerick with a Bachelor's Degree in Education, I spent a number of years working as a teacher in the Middle East and in 2021, I made somewhat of a bold move, to change career, move back to Ireland, pursue a move into the world of recruitment and in 2022 joined the Morgan McKinley team.

Teacher to Recruiter sounded like an unusual move, but success in the former is built on fostering growth, developing relationships as well as asking the right questions. When you put it like that, I didn’t come in too green to Recruitment?

In achieving my own personal ambitions with my current role, I now strive to understand the motivations of my candidates and assist them in finding the jobs that satisfy their goals, and equally listen to the needs of my clients in order to deliver the talent they require.
