The Opportunity:
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Associate Director to join their expanding Record to Report (RTR) team. This is a high-profile position that involves working closely with Partners, senior leadership, and key finance personnel within publicly listed companies and multinational environments. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future for clients, contribute to the firm's international community, and lead a talented team.
Main Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering exceptional client service and driving strategic financial initiatives, including:

Serving as a proficient accountant with a deep understanding of GAAP principles.

Engaging with multinational corporations in industry or practice settings.

Leading and supporting accounting and financial reporting engagements, including audit support, across multiple jurisdictions in EMEA, APAC, and the Americas.

Preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS, UK & Irish GAAP, with familiarity in other international jurisdictions (e.g., German, French, Spanish GAAP) being advantageous.

Assisting in the maintenance and development of key client relationships and contributing to business development activities, including proposal preparation and budgeting.

Collaborating with international offices and senior stakeholders.

Playing an active role in the firm's wider international community, contributing to internal committees and project work.

Designing and implementing project plans, effectively delegating tasks, and providing coaching to junior team members.

Ensuring assignments are completed within agreed budgets and timeframes.

Managing and mentoring a team effectively while on assignment, fostering their professional development.

Working knowledge of ONESOURCE and/or Caseware for accounts preparation is desirable, along with experience using electronic auditing packages.

Demonstrating strong communication, report writing, and advanced Excel skills.

Exhibiting commercial acumen and a strong passion for client service.

Possessing a genuine interest in IFRS and broader financial reporting developments, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt.
Skills and Experience:

A recognized accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA).

An audit background is an advantage.

Minimum of 5 years Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) with practical experience in auditing or preparing financial statements.

Prior experience within a top 20 practice firm or a multinational international reporting environment.

Proven strong people and project management skills.

In-depth knowledge of IFRS, UK & Irish GAAP, with familiarity in other GAAPs (e.g., German, French, Spanish) being a benefit.
