Claims Team Leader

Your responsibilities will include:
- To lead and manage a team of desk-based Claims Technicians to ensure they provide the highest standards of customer service to our clients
- Motivating the team to do their job efficiently and ensure targets and personal goals are achieved
- Management of team workflow to ensure all absences and holidays are covered
- Management of the holiday calendar /authorisations
- Monthly 1 to 1 meetings with team
- Overseeing and monitoring the lifecycle of the desk-based teams claims
- Identifying training needs in the team and implementing any necessary training
- Account management support where required
- Ability to deal with complaint calls received in the team
- Manage a small caseload of claim
Knowledge and Experience:
- Must hold APA qualification and be working towards Certificate in Insurance Practice (CIP)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience as a team leader or supervisor
- Excellent stakeholder management with an ability to manage multiple priorities
- Thrive in a high-pressured working environment
- Be driven to meet and exceed targets
- Travel may be required as and when so flexibility is a must.
