    Maintenance Co-ordinator

    Location: Cork City area

    Monday to Friday - Days Only


    We're hiring a Maintenance Co-ordinator to join our clients busy manufacturing site, leading the maintenance function and taking ownership for both hands-on work and team coordination. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced tradesperson to take on a broader, more strategic role while staying actively involved on the tools.

    Why this role is different:

    Unlike a regular Maintenance Technician role, this position carries responsibility for:

    • Mentoring and managing a maintenance apprentice

    • Planning and scheduling all site maintenance activities

    • Overseeing preventative maintenance programmes and minimising downtime

    • Managing external contractors and vendors

    • Having full autonomy to implement maintenance strategies and improvement initiatives

    • Supporting both production maintenance and site facilities management

    You'll be the key point of contact for the Operations Manager, leading maintenance operations day to day while staying hands-on with machinery such as CNCs, saws, heat welders, and die presses.

    What you'll need:

    • MAMF apprenticeship (or older Mechanical Fitter apprenticeship)

    • Strong hands-on mechanical, pneumatics, and troubleshooting experience

    • Previous experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment

    • Ability to lead, mentor and manage a team member

    • Experience in maintenance planning and working with CMMS systems (Sage-based CMMS an advantage)

    • Excellent communication and organisational skills

    • Full B driving licence
