Service Department Manager - Cork (Macroom)

A growing engineering company is looking for a Service Department Manager to lead and expand its nationwide service team.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a mix of office and client-facing responsibilities, focusing on team management, service efficiency, and business growth.
The Role:
- Lead and develop a team of five technicians and one office staff member, ensuring high performance and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee commissioning, annual servicing, and breakdown response for HVAC products, including AHUs, gas heaters, and radiant tube heaters.
- Manage service operations across Ireland, winning contracts and optimising workflows-no hands-on maintenance required.
- Implement service management software to enhance scheduling, invoicing, and job tracking.
- Drive business growth by securing new service contracts and expanding revenue streams.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while optimising team efficiency.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven service management experience, ideally in HVAC or a related industry.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with a focus on team development.
- Commercial acumen-someone who can chase leads, develop new business, and contribute to increasing service revenue.
- Experience with service management software and process improvement.
- Full, clean driving license required.
