Our client is a global investment bank with offices in Dublin City Centre. They are seeking an Assistant Manager - Regulatory Reporting on a full time, permanent basis. The Assitant Manager will contribute to the success of regulatory reporting within the finance function, ensuring individual goals and team objectives are achieved. The Assistant Manager will also support compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
- Promote a client-focused approach to enhance relationships and leverage internal systems and expertise.
- Accurately prepare internal management information and regulatory returns using automated platforms, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational standards.
- Ensure robust processes and systems are in place to facilitate accurate and timely reporting, including reconciliation and analysis. Act as a key point of contact for regulatory bodies, addressing queries and maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Support automation and process improvement initiatives within the regulatory reporting framework, contributing to data quality enhancements and operational efficiency.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of regulatory standards, financial markets, and relevant accounting practices.
- Undertake various ad-hoc tasks and projects as required, providing timely and accurate financial information.
- Ensure effective business operations, adhering to risk management frameworks, regulatory compliance standards, and ethical guidelines.
- Foster a high-performing and inclusive team culture, aligned with organizational values and goals.
Requirements:
- A relevant degree and professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Significant experience in a related role within financial services.
- Strong knowledge of operational and regulatory requirements, including relevant regulatory reporting standards and capital frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in business application software, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to change, and collaborate effectively within a team.
