Role: Human Resources Manager
Location: Dublin West/Kildare
Type: Permanent - Part Time (21 hours per week)
Job Description: This role with a government organisation are looking for an experienced HR professional to join their team and focus on a number of areas includingemployee relations.
Responsibilities
- Provide advice and direction on employment law.
- Assist with the management of a case load of ER / IR issues at Region level.
- Assist with the mentoring and coaching of line-managers with HR issues.
- Review and update the Region's performance development review system and provide support to line-managers.
- Participate in the work of the HR function for services, with particular emphasis on projects relating to the development of staff at all levels within Region.
- Participate in the recruitment process at all levels
- Carry out research on HR issues as directed by the Regional Operations Manager / Director of Human Resources
- Proactively collate and analyse complement (staffing) figures for the Service.
- Participate in Workforce Planning and give input to the current processes.
- Adhere to controls and review systems on HR data for all HR activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Human Resource Management or related discipline
- Eligible for CIPD certification / CIPD qualified.
- Full clean driver's license and own means of transport.
- Highly competent in all general HR practice areas - recruitment, training, performance management, employment legislation, best HR practice etc.
- A strong knowledge of Irish Employment Law, practices and their application.
- Experience of providing advice and guidance on HR best practice.
- Proven ability to manage areas of responsibility in a pro-active and professional manner.
