Position Overview
My client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Executive to join their in-house legal team in a rapidly growing company in the utilities industry.
This role is a full-time and permanent position. It is mostly office-based with some opportunity for hybrid working.There is further flexibility available for candidates seeking part-time hours.
The role offers exposure to a wide variety of legal tasks, with a strong emphasis on property matters, and an opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of our team's processes and systems.
What You'll Be Doing
Handling and organising all external communications, including post and email correspondence.
Updating and maintaining internal tracking tools to support workflow efficiency and department goals.
Managing physical legal files and overseeing the online filing and archiving system.
Drafting, reviewing, and updating legal documents as required.
Coordinating with the finance team to process legal invoices and ensure timely payments to third-party providers.
Conducting property-related searches to support transaction completion.
Assisting with the preparation and submission of caution applications to Tailte Éireann, and managing stamp duty filings in collaboration with the tax department post-completion.
Providing day-to-day administrative support to other members of the legal department as needed.
What We're Looking For
At least 2 years' experience in a legal executive, legal support, or administrative legal role, ideally in a top or mid-tier law firm, or from a large corporate insitution.
Prior experience in property law is preferred but not essential. Candidates coming from different practice areas will also be considered.
Comfortable working under pressure and managing competing deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong organisational skills and a structured, process-driven approach to work.
