Role Overview: Marketing Director
A leading global organization is seeking a Marketing Director to drive brand positioning and lead marketing initiatives. Reporting to the Group COO, this role will serve as a strategic marketing partner, driving brand awareness and revenue growth through innovative marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Leadership & Team Development
- Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Develop and execute a best-in-class marketing strategy, with a strong emphasis on digital channels.
- Establish clear KPIs and performance management frameworks for the team.
Brand Strategy & Market Positioning
- Develop and execute a cohesive global brand strategy to drive market differentiation and growth.
- Adapt global marketing communications for regional audiences to maximize impact.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all customer touchpoints.
Demand Generation & Digital Marketing
- Drive brand awareness and market penetration through targeted digital campaigns.
- Optimize digital marketing efforts to enhance lead generation and customer engagement.
- Align marketing initiatives with sales teams to support business growth objectives.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Lead the global marketing planning process, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop data-driven marketing strategies to optimize ROI and revenue growth.
- Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Budget Management & Performance Measurement
- Set and oversee the marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Track and analyze marketing spend to maximize return on investment.
- Provide regular performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
- Commercial Marketing experience which must include digital and online, ideally gained with challenger and leading brand(s) in the services sector
- 5+ years in a senior leadership position, ideally assuming responsibility across multiple jurisdictions
- You must demonstrate passion about the brands that you "owned, developed, grew, exported, loved, nurtured and monetised" While a consummate brand marketer, you can clearly point to outstanding commercial results linked clearly to marketing activity
- Proven track record in brand development and revenue growth through marketing.
- Experience managing multi-geography marketing teams in a fast-paced, global organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement skills.
