About the Firm
Our client, a well-established and respected mid-tier law firm based in Dublin City Centre, is seeking a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join their busy and dynamic Disputes Resolution team. The firm is known for delivering pragmatic and effective legal solutions to a diverse client base across a range of industries.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Newly Qualified Solicitor (NQ) or someone with up to 1 year of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) to join a supportive and collaborative team. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a wide variety of disputes work, including commercial litigation and debt recovery, in a role that offers excellent career development prospects.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will work closely with experienced partners and senior solicitors, handling a mix of commercial litigation and debt recovery matters. This role offers the opportunity to develop strong client relationships, contribute to strategic decision-making, and build a solid foundation for a long-term career in dispute resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and assisting with a variety of commercial litigation cases, including breach of contract disputes, corporate litigation, and professional negligence claims.
- Advising clients on litigation strategy, dispute resolution, and enforcement options.
- Drafting court documents, correspondence, settlement agreements, and commercial contracts.
- Handling debt recovery files, including issuing proceedings, negotiating settlements, and liaising with clients to ensure efficient resolution.
- Conducting legal research and staying informed on developments in commercial litigation and debt recovery law.
- Attending court proceedings and liaising with counsel and third parties.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships while delivering a high standard of service.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor in Ireland, with up to 1 year PQE in commercial litigation, debt recovery, or related fields.
- Strong academic record and excellent technical legal skills.
- Proactive, organized, and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, practical advice to clients.
- A team player with a commitment to delivering results.
