The Utility Project Engineer will oversee and execute technical projects within utility systems at the facility, reporting to the Senior Manager for Strategic Engineering Projects. This role involves working across various utility systems, including controlled temperature units, GMP HVAC, clean utilities, and other associated systems. Experience in commissioning, qualification, and system upgrades is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute assigned projects, including prioritization, resource management, and external communication.
- Work with stakeholders to scope projects, ensuring requirements are met from concept to operation.
- Coordinate the introduction of new processes, equipment, and materials, troubleshooting issues prior to qualification/start-up.
- Develop and implement maintenance programs and optimize spare parts inventory.
- Manage change controls and develop engineering documents, specifications, and protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including system owners, maintenance supervisors, and vendors on equipment upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Travel as needed to support project execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant experience.
- 3+ years of engineering experience, preferably in a GMP manufacturing environment.
- Proven project management experience.
- Strong mechanical expertise with hands-on technical experience.
- Experience in a GDP Compliant environment.
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, Change Control, and Document Management Systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Data-driven decision maker with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
