Purchasing Administrator
Dublin West (5 days onsite)
Salary: €30,000 - €35,000 doe
My client, a well-established and expanding organisation is looking for a highly organised and proactive individual to join their team as a Purchasing Administrator. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the smooth and efficient running of procurement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Management: Creating, organizing, filing (both physical and electronic), and maintaining procurement-related documents such as purchase orders, contracts, supplier agreements, invoices, and quotations.
- Data Entry and Record Keeping: Accurately inputting and updating data in procurement systems, databases, and spreadsheets. This includes supplier information, pricing, order details, and delivery schedules.
- Correspondence: Drafting and sending routine emails, letters, and other communications to suppliers, internal stakeholders, and other relevant parties.
- General Office Duties: Photocopying, scanning, faxing, and managing office supplies for the procurement team.
- Purchase Order Processing: Creating, issuing, and tracking purchase orders to suppliers based on approved requisitions
- Compliance Assistance: Supporting the team in ensuring that all procurement activities adhere to company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
Skills & Experience Required:
- At least 2 years of administrative experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively to achieve targets.
- Proven ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with standard office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, word processors).
