About the Role
A rapidly growing FMCG company is hiring a Quality Coordinator to join their team. This role will report into the Quality Manager and work alongside quality colleagues in the company's quality evolution process. Responsibilities:
- Identify process deviations through data and analysis
- Ensure proper documentation and record management across the organisation.
- Conduct quality inspections at co-packers, ensuring compliance with:
21 FR 117-cGMPs (including pest control, sanitation, personnel).
HACCP/Food Safety, Food Defence, and Foreign Supplier Verification Programs.
- Track, analyse & report quality data to identify GAP' s against quality requirements.
- Oversee Management of Change (MOC) and Continual Improvement programs
- Perform market quality audits and co-packer proficiency tests.
- Maintain the Sensory Program.
- This role may involve up to 15% international travel to suppliers and co-packers.
Qualifications:
- 2 years associate degree (preferably in Science).
- Experience in food manufacturing and laboratory testing methods.
- Preferably experience in microbiology sampling and testing.
- Document and record management experience.
- Familiarity with CAPA and RCA.
- Basic knowledge of FDA FSMA and GFSI food safety standards.
- Understanding of sanitation in manufacturing processes (CIP and COP).
- Ability to influence food safety and quality culture across the organization.
