Senior Engineer - Dublin

Our client is looking for a Senior Engineer to work alongside the Project Manager in delivering various civil infrastructure projects in Dublin Port. The role involves ensuring that works are completed safely, on time, and to the high standards expected by the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure projects are completed safely and to high-quality standards.
• Liaise with foremen and subcontractors to plan works effectively.
• Draft and review method statements and create ITPs (Inspection Test Plans).
• Complete check sheets and conduct HSE audits on-site.
• Maintain commercial awareness throughout project delivery.

Qualifications & Skills:

• BEng in Civil Engineering or similar.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the civil construction industry, preferably within the Irish or UK market.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering design and construction principles.
• Proficiency in using civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
• Excellent understanding of HSE regulations and practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and site teams.
