Technology Service/Incident Manager
€60,000 - €70,000 + Benefits Package
We are proud to be partnering with a leading global financial organisation in the technology space. They are currently seeking an experienced Technology Service/Incident Manager to join their dynamic team, reporting to senior stakeholders. In this role, you'll work at the forefront of service delivery, ensuring operational compliance under the DORA framework while supporting the organisation's critical IT operations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the management and resolution of P1/P2 incidents, ensuring DORA-compliant reporting and communications.
- Assess incidents against DORA thresholds and notify key internal stakeholders promptly.
- Prepare regulatory notifications and ensure submission within 24 hours for qualifying incidents.
- Analyse recurring incidents and implement solutions to address root causes.
- Maintain and update documentation related to incidents, governance, and project deliverables.
- Collaborate with technology teams to streamline communication and operational processes.
- Provide incident and problem management reports for key stakeholders in London and Dublin regions.
- Facilitate onboarding of new applications, ensuring all attestations and documentation are in place.
- Drive improvements in communication strategies to ensure clarity and effectiveness during critical incidents.
Job Requirements
- Education: Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certification required; Graduate Degree preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years in an Incident Management or Coordinator role, with exposure to IT service management frameworks.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and application platforms.
- Proficiency in creating infographics, presentations, and documentation.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and incident management systems.
- Competencies:
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple incidents and priorities effectively.
- Experience engaging senior executives and cross-functional teams.
- Preferred Knowledge: Exposure to Capital Markets or Securities Dealer Applications.
