Technical Tester with Automation Skills

6-month contract (potential renewal), Hybrid (2-3 days in Dublin based office)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Tester with strong automation skills to join a high performing team. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional with a proven ability to contribute to all aspects of the testing lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated API tests using C#.
• Participate in test planning, execution, and reporting.
• Drive and improve QA processes.
• Contribute to test strategy development and tooling selection.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
• Generate test exit reports.
• Thrive in BDD/ATDD environments, including experience with service mocking for parallel acceptance test development.
• Utilise source control management systems.
• Identify and implement process and tooling improvements.

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience in API test automation.
• Proficiency in C#.
• Hands-on experience with test planning and execution.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with BDD/ATDD and service mocking.
• Source control experience.

Contract Details:

• Contract Length: 6 months initially (potential for renewal)
• Location: Hybrid (2-3 days per week in Dublin office)
