Warehouse Team Lead

My client a leading logistics solutions provider in Dublin who are fast growing in their industry are seeking to hire a Warehouse Team Lead to join their fast expanding team in Dublin.

The ideal candidate should have experience in warehouse management within a fast-paced setting. This role involves overseeing staff, ensuring compliance, and maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of daily warehouse activities.

This is very much a hands on role and the chosen candidate will initially have 10+ direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring seamless and efficient warehouse operations while reporting to the Warehouse Manager.
• Manage and coordinate shipments, ensuring accurate processing and timely dispatch.
• Operate both reach and counterbalance forklifts as required.
• Oversee the precise picking and storage of goods, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Enforce health and safety policies, including adherence to temperature control and cold storage protocols.
• Monitor and troubleshoot warehouse equipment, ensuring forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery remain in optimal working condition.
• Assist in audit preparations, ensuring warehouse documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date.
