A client based in Limerick is seeking a Facilities Engineer to join their team on a 12-month hourly rate contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support, troubleshooting, and expertise to the Facilities Operations, Utilities, and HVAC teams.
- Design, specify, and oversee the commissioning of new and upgraded biopharmaceutical utilities and HVAC systems, while managing small to mid-sized projects in these areas.
- Design and specify cGMP clean and grey utilities, as well as HVAC systems.
- Handle troubleshooting of complex plant equipment and related systems, recommending corrective actions as needed.
- Assist in the design review, site acceptance, and installation processes for equipment.
- Support the QA Validation team by preparing design documentation and assisting with protocol execution.
- Investigate utility system issues and control system anomalies, and implement corrective or preventative measures.
- Prepare engineering evaluations and test plans, and execute change control documentation for modifications.
- Interpret P&IDs, system layouts, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications when planning maintenance and repairs.
Skills & Experience:
- Level 8 or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
- Strong background in Utilities systems and HVAC.
- Availability to work on-site five days a week.
