    This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join one of Ireland's leading contractors on a large-scale construction project in Limerick.

    Position: Quantity Surveyor

    Location: Limerick

    Salary: DOE plus bonus, pension, and company car

    The main responsibilities include:

    • Manage all cost-related aspects of construction projects, from initial estimates to final accounts.
    • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
    • Monitor project progress and provide detailed financial reports, forecasting and cash flow analysis.
    • Ensure accurate valuation of completed work and arrange payments to subcontractors.
    • Conduct cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
    • Assess, manage and resolve any contractual or commercial risks.
    • Liaise closely with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
    • Support procurement processes and assist in the negotiation of subcontractor packages.
    • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, relevant regulations, and internal company procedures.
    • Participate in value engineering exercises and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.

    The ideal candidate will possess the following:

    • Minimum 5 years' experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably on large-scale construction projects.
    • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
    • Proficiency in ABM or similar financial/project management software.
    • Strong analytical, financial reporting, and negotiation skills.
    • Familiarity with Irish construction contracts and procurement procedures.
    • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional project teams and subcontractors.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Full clean driver's license.
