About the Role
Support the mechanical maintenance function to ensure optimal plant availability, efficiency, and safety while managing resources within budget and maintaining accurate maintenance records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance tasks to achieve targets safely, efficiently, and within environmental standards.
- Assist in maintenance planning and develop skills in broader engineering tasks.
- Diagnose faults, inspect equipment, and carry out operational duties as required.
- Solve problems proactively and contribute innovative solutions.
- Conduct preventative maintenance, maintain accurate records, and ensure all necessary quality documentation is completed.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to deliver high plant availability.
- Manage and oversee the activities of external parties on-site when necessary.
- Adhere to safety protocols, actively engage with the work permit system, and promote a safe working environment.
- Participate in performance management to achieve personal and team objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and welfare provisions for employees and public users of the premises.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., HND, HC, or equivalent experience).
- Level 6 qualification or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
- Full Unrestricted access to work in the Republic of Ireland.
