My client is looking for a dynamic Warehouse Manager to take the lead in driving all aspects of their warehouse operations. In this key role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and cost-effective management of storage, distribution, and inventory control. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, maximise productivity, and uphold the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilties:
Inventory Management: Lead the oversight of product receipt, storage, and distribution, ensuring inventory accuracy and prompt stock replenishment.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing warehouse team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Process Optimisation: Design and implement efficient warehouse workflows and procedures aimed at reducing operational costs and boosting productivity.
Safety Compliance: Ensure full compliance with health and safety standards through routine audits, staff training, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Quality Control: Uphold rigorous quality standards by ensuring products are properly handled and stored to minimize risk of damage.
Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with logistics partners and internal teams to guarantee timely, accurate, and efficient movement of goods.
Reporting & Analysis: Generate detailed reports on warehouse performance, including inventory metrics, order fulfillment rates, operational KPIs, and customer service levels-highlighting trends and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
Education: Certified training or accreditation in Warehouse and Logistics Management.
Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in warehouse operations or a related leadership role.
Skills: Strong leadership and organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
