    Fantastic opportunity for an experienced, commercially-minded Management Accountant to join a leading multinational organisation in the South East on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will take ownership of financial reporting, planning, and analysis across manufacturing processes, operational cost centres, and employee-related costs and will work closely with Operations and Finance teams to provide high-quality financial insight and support informed decision-making.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Own all financial reporting for manufacturing processes, providing clear analysis and support to the Operations Management team.
    • Manage financial reporting for employee benefits and departmental cost centres, partnering with departmental managers.
    • Prepare budgets, quarterly forecasts, and month-end reporting for manufacturing processes, employee benefits, and departmental cost centres.
    • Lead headcount planning for manufacturing operations.
    • Produce weekly labour cost reports, including detailed variance analysis.
    • Review and sign off on weekly and monthly payroll reporting.
    • Provide ad hoc costing and financial analysis to support management decision-making.
    • Support internal control, statutory, and compliance audits, including SOX-related requirements.
    • Ensure compliance with corporate finance policies, applicable accounting standards, and internal control frameworks.
    • Undertake additional finance duties as required to support the wider finance function.

    Key Requirements:

    • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification).
    • Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in a finance role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
    • Strong track record in financial management, performance reporting, and financial systems.
    • Commercially minded with the ability to apply sound judgment to financial decision-making.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Highly proactive with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
    • Strong systems knowledge and high level of computer literacy.
    • Experience working in a Sarbanes-Oxley controlled environment is an advantage.
