A market leading financial services company is currently seeking an experienced Collections Manager to join their company which is based in West Dublin. This new position has come up due to continued company growth and the successful candidate will be responsible for managing 4 direct reports - 1 team leader and 3 collections agents. They will manage accounts receivable processes, review and improve collections strategies, develop customer engagement plans and prepare & present dashboards on collections results.

- Based in Dublin West (Hybrid - 2 days in office per week)
- Salary: €50,000 - €60,000
- Excellent benefits package: Pension (up to 9% employer contribution), Healthcare, Income protection, Bonus (up to 20%)

- Flexible start times (options to do 8am-4:30pm or 9am - 5:30pm)
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute collection strategies to minimize overdue accounts and bad debt in compliance with regulations.
- Lead and mentor the collections team to meet performance targets and uphold high standards.
- Analyse collection data to identify trends and improve revenue recovery and risk management.
- Maintain positive customer relationships to achieve optimal resolutions, especially for vulnerable clients.
- Set and monitor team and individual performance goals to drive consistent progress.
- Implement customer support strategies to aid in debt management and foster successful outcomes.
- Prepare and present reports on collection performance, risks, and actionable insights for senior management.
- Oversee pre-legal collections and manage relationships with external legal vendors.
- Ensure all collection activities align with legal, regulatory, and company policies, while continuously enhancing processes and collaborating with stakeholders.
Key Skills/Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in a Collections leadership/management position
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills
- Track record of identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes where required
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience
- Comfortable with end-to-end debt management including legal escalations
- QFA or APA (Loans & Regulations) qualification is desirable
