Overview
Our Client is seeking an experienced and motivated Product Manager to join our dynamic Financial Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the development, management, and optimisation of a growing Leasing Product suite within a customer-focused and commercially driven environment.
As Product Manager, you will be the go-to expert and advocate for Leasing customers and the Leasing product within our broader product portfolio. You'll collaborate across departments to design service offerings, analyse market trends, drive profitability, and deliver tailored solutions that align with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
As Product Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Product Strategy - Define and execute product strategy in line with commercial and growth objectives.
- Market Analysis - Conduct research to understand customer needs, monitor market trends, and identify risks or opportunities.
- Product Development - Lead the full product lifecycle from concept to launch, working with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Cross-functional Collaboration - Champion your product across the business, working closely with stakeholders in Operations, Sales, Marketing, Pricing, IT, and Change.
- Performance Monitoring - Track product performance, assess opportunities for improvement, and ensure business and customer expectations are met.
- Compliance - Ensure all products meet relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Innovation - Identify cross-product efficiencies and support innovation across product lines.
- Enablement - Develop and maintain documentation, FAQs, and resources to support product understanding and sales enablement.
- Project Support - Act as the product subject matter expert across change and transformation projects, ensuring customer and business needs are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Master's or professional qualification is a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years' product management experience within the financial services sector.
- QFA qualification (or APA working towards QFA) is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Proficient in project and change management principles.
- Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and influencing decisions.
- Knowledge of industry regulation and compliance standards.
- Motivated self-starter with a "deliver in spite of challenges" mindset.
- Highly organised with attention to detail and excellent time management.
- Strong leadership skills - able to align and inspire cross-functional teams.
