The Treasury Operations and Reporting team provides a comprehensive range of back-office support services related to treasury operations for the Organisation's business units.
We are seeking a Treasury Operations Administrator to join the Settlements Team on a 24-month fixed-term contract within the Treasury Operations and Reporting function. The Settlements Team is tasked with ensuring the smooth and effective settlement of all treasury transactions.
Key Responsibilities
As a member of the Settlements Team, reporting to the Head of Settlements, the role involves:
- Confirming treasury transactions, including bonds, T-bills, loans, derivatives, foreign exchange, short-term instruments, and retail debt products related to the State Savings schemes.
- Preparing SWIFT payments and confirmations.
- Performing daily reports and reconciliations.
- Coordinating with traders and other stakeholders to address exceptions efficiently.
- Maintaining strong operational relationships.
Experience & Knowledge
- Hands-on experience with the Euroclear/Easyway trade lifecycle is essential.
- Proficiency in SWIFT message types.
- Solid understanding of treasury products and key middle- and back-office processes.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in financial services, preferably in settlements, systems, or custody roles.
Skills Required
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships and collaborate as part of a team.
- Capable of meeting tight deadlines and performing under pressure.
- Proficiency in IT tools, especially MS Office.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
