About The Role
As a Fabric Technologist, you will be overseeing the full cycle of delivery for raw materials to ensure full support to processes of production/ product development by fostering professional relationships with existing or new partnership with vendors.
Job Responsibilities
- Establish expectations of raw material quality and standards with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best selection of raw materials applications for outdoor wear products
- Liaise with HQ office for new product development projects and provide recommendations and insights for the best delivery of raw materials applications
- Responsible for analysing risks within bulk production process during the development stage for the mitigation of any discrepancies within production timeline
- Provide advice and recommendation to merchandising and design team to ensure raw material feasibility and availability before bulk production
- Participate in raw materials supply planning responsibilities for outdoor and sportswear items by consolidating and examining relevant data & analytics for continuous improvement and performance optimization initiatives
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree of Arts in Fashion and Textile or any other relevant disciplines of studies
- Minimum 4 years of raw material production experience, all of which should be obtained within the industry of garment and apparel
- Solid product exposure to sportswear, outdoor wear, or performance wear is highly preferred
- Fluency in both written and spoken Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
- Strong interpersonal skills to ensure effective communications between relevant stakeholders within a multinational enterprise
- Candidate with less experience will be cosnidered for the title of Assistant Fabric Technologist
- Immediate availability is preferred
