Junior Sourcing Specialist (Buying Office, Hardgoods) 25k max

About the role:

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Sourcing Specialist. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience working within EU/US buying offices or retailers (Open to Hardgoods/ Softgoods). This role requires a good knowledge in supply chain management, including vendor management and cost analysis. The successful candidate will be open to business travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in sourcing and procurement activities to support business needs.
• Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct cost analysis to identify opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
• Support the preparation of sourcing documents and reports.
• Travel as needed for vendor meetings and site visits.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in a sourcing or procurement role within EU or US buying offices/retailers.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, including vendor management and cost analysis.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel for business purposes.
