Tax Associate - Remote

Our client is a leading boutique tax firm offering tax compliance and advice to private clients. They operate on a fully remote basis affording the Tax Associate the opportunity to be based anywhere in Ireland.

The Tax Associate will play a vital role in supporting the preparation of accurate and compliant tax returns while ensuring adherence to regulations and delivering exceptional client service. This position involves assisting with tax filings, managing client data, and involvement with tax planning advice.

Main Responsibilities:

• Preparing tax filings and related documentation.
• Assisting with tax calculations and compliance requirements.
• Managing correspondence with tax authorities and clients.
• Supporting research and contributing to advisory memos.
• Tracking progress on tasks and providing updates to management.

Skills and Experience:

• 1-2 years of tax experience
• Personal tax or global mobility tax strongly preferred.
• Currently sitting or planning to start professional accountancy or tax exams (ACCA/ACA/CTA).
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel and a willingness to improve processes.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
