We are delighted to partner with this pharmaceutical production leader as they grow their team in Mayo. They are now seeking to hire a Technical Shift Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Production Manager, as Technical Shift Manager you will be responsible for the supporting the production team as a subject matter expert ensuring procedures are correctly followed. In the role, you will have the opportunity to lead an established team developing and guiding its members technically and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high levels of customer service, in this role, you will ensure the quality of the product, comply with all regulatory requirements, achieve desired financial performance.
- Coach and mentor the production team to achieve operational excellence through long-term efficiencies.
- Work cross functionally with various departments to ensure targets are met across output, quality and safety.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Proactively address production issues as identified.
Key Qualifications:
- 4+ years ideally in a pharmaceutical manufacturing role with people management exeperience.
- Relevant third level qualification.
- Strong GMP and regulatory experience.
- Strong record of continuous improvement and project management.
