Roles/Responsibilities
- Across shifts (not before 07:30 or later than 18:30), support Japan local IT for the users in the Tokyo branch.
- Support applications across the different products they offer including Structured Products, Fixed Income, Banking, and others.
- Manage tech related projects for the Tokyo business (could be on infra or application side).
- Respond to user tickets and requests for desktop support in Tokyo office. Also, configure hardware, set up new PCs and peripherals, etc.
- Support projects for system enhancements, upgrades, etc. This sometimes happens over the weekend.
- Ensure ITIL framework and IT Standard compliance for the team.
Required skills
- At least seven years of experience managing and supporting Windows desktops
- Support Experience: Windows desktop, server hardware, Microsoft applications, and network are required
- University degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent
- At least five years of experience working in the securities, banking, or investment banking sector
- Over 3 years of experience managing and supporting tech infrastructure, such as Wintel / Unix servers, Network, Voice, DBA, Middleware, etc.
- Sales/Trading system application support
- Basic knowledge of ITIL Framework
- Proficiency in in-person and telephone user communication
- Fluency in Japanese (written + spoken) and business level English or higher.

Preferred skills
- Certification in relevant areas such as CCNA (networking) or ITIL Foundation (IT Services)
- MCP Microsoft Accreditation
- Strong foundational understanding of platforms, front-end and back-end client services, structured cabling, and computer room design
- Experience in project management and a basic understanding of the Project life cycle
- Experience with or interest in dealing with JFSA requests
