Roles/Responsibilities
- Configure EDM applications using SQL Server to align with client requirements during on-site implementations.
- Provide consultancy to clients on business process enhancements and propose solutions for complex system challenges.
- Offer application support, including incident management, issue resolution, system monitoring, and coordinating with internal and external teams.
- Prepare and present reports on weekly, quarterly, and budget statuses to clients.
- Test deliverables to ensure they meet documented requirements, and record unit test results.
- Continuously monitor and assess current procedures, recommending and documenting improvements or new feature implementations.
- Collaborate with Presales and Sales teams during prospect engagements, RFI/RFP processes, and POC workshops, identifying potential new business opportunities.
Required skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Finance with 5+ years of development experience and strong SQL skills, preferably with SQL Server.
- In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment banking processes, middle-office systems, and data management needs.
- 2+ years of experience with Markit EDM implementation/support, including expertise in components like Data Inspector, Rule Builder, and Web UI Workflows.
- Proven software implementation experience across buy-side and sell-side environments, with data modeling expertise in financial database projects.
