We are seeking a Head of Technology Governance to establish and oversee IT risk, compliance, and governance frameworks for our rapidly growing digital ecosystem across entertainment, e-commerce, digital financial services, etc.
As a key leader, you will drive governance strategies that balance innovation, scalability, and security across our diverse business units in Southeast Asia and beyond. Your role will be critical in ensuring our cloud-first, digital-first operations remain resilient, compliant, and aligned with regulatory expectations across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a technology governance framework tailored for fast-moving digital businesses, ensuring compliance with regional and international regulations (e.g., MAS TRM, PDPA, GDPR, PCI DSS).
- Oversee IT risk management, establishing proactive controls for cloud infrastructure, AI-driven platforms, mobile apps, and large-scale digital services.
- Define and enforce security, privacy, and compliance policies across e-commerce transactions, digital payments, and online content platforms.
- Work closely with product, engineering, and cybersecurity teams to integrate governance into our agile development and DevSecOps pipelines.
- Lead engagements with regulators, auditors, and industry bodies, ensuring our platforms meet evolving regulatory standards.
- Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to continuously enhance governance effectiveness across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
- Drive a risk-aware culture, ensuring that business and technology leaders embed governance into their decision-making processes.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in Technology Risk, IT Governance, or Compliance within digital-first companies (e.g., tech platforms, fintech, e-commerce, or entertainment services).
- Expertise in cloud governance, cybersecurity frameworks, data protection, and IT risk management.
- Strong knowledge of regional regulatory requirements across Southeast Asia.
- Hands-on experience in governing large-scale, cloud-native platforms, including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Ability to collaborate with engineering, product, and cybersecurity teams to align governance with business agility.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of working with C-level executives, regulators, and external auditors.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, or AWS Security Specialty are a plus.
