QA Lead
Our client, a leading gaming firm, is seeking an experienced QA Lead to oversee the quality assurance of internal business products and systems, which are critical to supporting the company's operations. This leadership role requires strong expertise to ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of systems, tools, and platforms used across various departments.
As the QA Lead, you will guide a team of QA engineers, collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, and uphold high-quality standards for essential non-game systems, ensuring smooth and efficient business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on requirements, design, and code review to create test plans, manage test cases, and develop testbenches for integration and performance testing.
- Work with stakeholders and teams to ensure systems meet functional and user experience standards.
- Track quality issues, analyze data, and develop improvement plans focused on performance, compliance, and security.
- Collaborate with automation/stability QA teams to improve internal tools, frameworks, and productivity.
- Review system implementations for accurate data collection and analytics.
- Lead and mentor a QA team, providing coaching and addressing escalations to resolve issues impacting quality and productivity.
- Refine policies and processes to maintain an efficient work environment and ensure system performance.
- Act as the primary contact for local quality issues, collaborating with QA, IT, development, and operations teams to optimize systems.
- Foster collaboration to enhance system quality, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Provide clear documentation on testing processes, improvements, and issues.
- Maintain detailed reports on progress, risks, and quality metrics, keeping stakeholders informed.
Key Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years in quality assurance for Internet products, with leadership experience; familiarity with business-critical/internal systems preferred.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail), and automation frameworks; experience with CRM/ERP platforms is a plus.
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go) and understanding of web/server/automation architecture and application frameworks.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to prioritize and resolve issues efficiently.
- Hands-on experience in automated testing, performance testing, CI/CD pipelines, and QA standards for complex systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage priorities and collaborate with -functional teams.
- Bilingual in Mandarin is a plus for liaising with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
