Overview
We are looking for an experienced In-House Legal Counsel to provide legal support across contracts, corporate governance, compliance, and risk management. You will advise internal teams on legal matters, ensuring business operations align with applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Review, negotiate, advise and drafting legal contracts/agreements, tenders with customers, vendors, partners and other third parties
- Ensure business is conducted in compliance with local and relevant legal legislations
- Advise company of legal risks and exposure
- Provide legal advice, as required, on business and employee related matters
- Draft standard contract templates
- Support external legal counsel on litigation matters
- Recommend improvements to legal and corporate governance
- Provide trainings to Business Units on basic legal knowledge
- Advise on investment transactions, for eg, M&A, if required
Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of post-qualification legal experience as an in-house lawyer or commercial legal firm
- Sound knowledge of general corporate laws, contract laws and litigation matters
- Experience in reviewing Service and Solution agreements and commercial industry preferred
- Experience in negotiating and advising on general commercial/technology/leasing contracts including: Software, Services, Hardware supply and rental, Leasing, Consulting service
- Good communication and interpersonal skill
