About Catherine Hughes

Catherine joined Morgan McKinley Executive Search in 2020. She works internationally and cross-functionally working with clients to identify senior talent to support major growth and expansion and help businesses prioritise strengthening expertise and experience in areas of strategic importance. Catherine also has a strong track record in the non-profit sector and a growing interest in working with organisations to deepen their expertise in sustainability and climate change.

Catherine was previously Head of Business Development for a global search business, leading senior assignments for the United Nations, private family foundations and global health organisations. Prior to this, Catherine lived in the United States for a few years working for a boutique management consultancy providing executive level training and education programmes to Board & Leadership teams in healthcare, retail, banking and technology.

Catherine holds a B.Sc. in Environmental Planning from Queen's University Belfast and an MBA with a specialism in HR and Organisational Development from Wilkes University in Pennsylvania, USA. She has also completed her Practitioner Diploma in Coaching and is working towards full accreditation by the International Coaching Federation.
