A leading financial institution is seeking a high performing Lead Business Analyst, to work on a wide variety of initiatives aimed at transforming the systems and processes that support their Credit Risk function. You'll play a critical role in ensuring that key business and regulatory requirements are met through effective process improvements and workflow enhancements.
As a Lead Business Analyst within the Credit Risk function, you will take ownership of a major transformation workstream, collaborating with business, technology and data teams to shape the future credit risk framework and systems. Your role will be instrumental in defining strategic solutions, streamlining processes and working with stakeholders across multiple business units.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the analysis and delivery of strategic projects within a large scale risk transformation.
- Partnering with stakeholders to define, document and communicate business requirements.
- Defining and documenting future-state processes, systems and operational models.
- Developing detailed process maps and collaborating with teams to design improved workflows.
- Working with technical teams to ensure the successful implementation of new processes and systems.
- Ensuring alignment with regulatory obligations and business objectives.
To succeed in this critical role, you will offer:
- Extensive experience as a Senior or Lead Business Analyst in financial services, delivering technology and process transformation initiatives
- Strong knowledge of Credit Risk, including risk frameworks, policies and regulatory consideration
- Demonstrable experience of the use of core business analysis tools and techniques including workshop facilitation, process mapping, requirements elicitation and documentation
- Strong analytical skills paired with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders across different functions.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, adapting to shifting priorities and business requirements.
- Experience in prioritising workload and activities, with the ability to organise time effectively across projects and independent pieces of work.
- Self-motivation with an adaptable and flexible approach to new situations and environments.
