This pivotal role will oversee all financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and industry regulations. The Finance Manager will lead a dedicated finance team and collaborate closely with senior operations and production stakeholders to drive financial performance, support cost control measures, and implement initiatives that improve efficiency across both the financial and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets, and Variance reports.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making across business functions and projects.
- Manage month-end processes, sales analysis, pricing, treasury operations, and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Partner with business leaders to identify financial trends and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Provide financial guidance to operations, project teams, and other departments.
- Represent the finance function internally and externally, fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Fully qualified accountant with a proven track record of success in finance management, delivering strong financial leadership and driving performance within fast-paced manufacturing environments.
- Minimum 5+ years of recent manufacturing experience.
- Proven ability to lead teams and implement financial strategies in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and challenge senior stakeholders.
- Hands-on, commercial mindset with a proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with financial systems and a track record of process improvement and efficiency.
