We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent Cell Lead position on a production team based in Shannon. The primary purpose of this role is to drive output through and fulfil all functions in relation to production on Organic Cell.
Duties & Responsibilities to Include:
- Manufacture of batches in accordance with their SOPs.
- Carry out appropriate and fit for purpose preventative maintenance on all equipment including equipment checks/calibration.
- Contribution to lean including 6S, kaizen, Kanban and lean.
- Specific cell waste management to ensure appropriate waste stream storage prior to disposal.
- Ensure all health, safety and environmental standards are complied with and taking full responsibility for housekeeping and hygiene within the cell.
- Troubleshooting production issues and work closely with, communicate with colleagues on QC and planning to ensure demand requirements are met with in the allocated time frame.
- Suggest and implement improvements to increase capacity and efficiency.
- Train and guide production operators and technicians within the area.
- Undertake training and upskilling to ensure expertise to perform the role of Team Leader within the TOC Cell. Ensure proper utilisation of the team, proper flow of work and all staff are working optimally.
Requirements to Include:
- 2 plus years' experience gained in a high-quality manufacturing environment.
- Detailed knowledge and experience of batch chemical manufacturing
- 3rd level science qualification (minimum ordinary level degree) is mandatory.
