ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Manage day-to-day credit and collection activities.
- Proactively address customer queries, collaborating effectively with the Sales team and other departments.
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger and allocation of all customer payments.
- Enhance credit control practices by cultivating strong relationships with customers.
- Accounts Payable invoice processing and account reconciliation.
- Banking & treasury
- Intercompany transaction.
- Assist with month-end closing.
- Preparation and posting of Sales invoices monthly.
- Generating Customer invoices and account statements.
- Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries.
- Managing overdue payments
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Credit Control/Accounts Assistant position within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in computerised accounting packages, preferably SAGE.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines consistently and effectively.
