New Opportunity for a Collections Team Lead within a leading multinational in Cork. This role will play a pivotal role in driving theur global collections strategy. Reporting to the Global AR Senior Manager, you'll lead a dedicated team of up to 10 individuals to ensure timely and efficient debt recovery.
This role will work hybrid in Cork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Oversee the performance and development of a team of 10 collectors.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and mentoring.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Process Improvement:
- Analyse and optimise existing collections processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation.
- Debt Recovery:
- Prioritise and manage a high volume of overdue accounts.
- Employ effective negotiation and communication skills to resolve disputes and secure payments.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaboration:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Credit, Cash Applications, Master Data, and Sales Team to coordinate efforts and resolve issues.
- Reporting:
- Prepare detailed reports on collections activities, aged debt, and SOX compliance.
- Analyse data to identify trends and inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems is a plus.
- Fluency in English, with additional language skills being an advantage.
- A passion for driving results and exceeding expectations.
