Our client is a well established construction firm, based in West Cork but with a reputation of delivering high quality residential and commercial projects in Cork City and County. They currently require a PM for residential and industrial projects between Bandon and Dunmanway.
Role: Project Manager
Location: West Cork
Salary & Package - €80k plus pension, expenses, bonus and company vehicle etc
As well as an attractive salary and package, there is an opportunity to move into a leadership role within the company after a certain period.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum 5 years experience as a Senior Site Manager or Project Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to establish project objectives, specifications, and budgets.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, including monitoring and reporting on project progress.
- Supervise project teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors, to ensure efficient and safe project execution.
- Ensure that all work complies with relevant safety regulations and quality standards.
- Provide regular project status updates to clients and senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Construction related field or 10 years on site experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in project management, particularly in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
