Job Summary
We are seeking a Project Manager for a 12-month contract to join our pharmaceutical client's PMO function. This role will oversee a centralised project portfolio spanning multiple departments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing timelines, resources, and risks while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, ensuring alignment with business leads and sponsors.
- Manage project scope, time, cost, and resource allocation.
- Identify and track critical project milestones and deliverables.
- Oversee project changes through Project Change Requests (PCRs).
- Ensure standard project and change management tools are utilized effectively.
- Coordinate resources, update Smartsheet allocations, and address resource challenges.
- Conduct regular meetings with project teams and stakeholders to monitor progress.
- Identify and mitigate project risks in collaboration with teams.
- Lead governance meetings and provide updates to sponsors and business leads.
- Organise and facilitate project stage gate review meetings.
- Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
- Level 8 degree in relevant Engineering, Science or business discipline
- Experience in pharmaceutical operations/GMP environment
- 5 years + Proven project management experience
- Experience with Smartsheet Project Management application is preferred
- Experience in operational excellence and business process improvements
- Strong leadership and influencing capabilities
- Demonstrates excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to act on own initiative
